Q: I have used lots of cold email tools and hoping to replace monthly subscriptions.

There are a few "must haves" for me that I am wondering if this has (I have not seen any of these questions yet, only the same questions again and again...) -

1) If I am sending multiple follow up emails in a campaign, will the follow ups be added to the same thread, so they look "natural" as if I have replied to my own email when following up?

2) If a contact replies to one of my emails are they automatically removed from the follow up sequence?

3) Are out of office/auto-replies recognised and treated differently?

4) Can I set the sending window of times to be sending emails throughout the day, e.g. 10am-4pm weekdays, with emails sent every couple of minutes in that window so it looks more natural?

5) Can I export the results of a campaign so I can filter out anyone who replied, and then run a new campaign with only people who have not yet replied?

6) Does it track opens/clicks/replies?

7) Do I have to include an unsubscribe link?

Thanks!

A: Hello,

Regarding your questions:

Q: 1) If I am sending multiple follow up emails in a campaign, will the follow ups be added to the same thread, so they look "natural" as if I have replied to my own email when following up?

A: Yes, it is an option to leave the subject line empty on the follow-ups to keep the emails in the same thread.

Q: 2) If a contact replies to one of my emails are they automatically removed from the follow up sequence?

A: Yes, you need to enable reply tracking.

Q: 3) Are out of office/auto-replies recognised and treated differently?

A: This feature is not currently available. It is on our plans.

Q: 4) Can I set the sending window of times to be sending emails throughout the day, e.g. 10am-4pm weekdays, with emails sent every couple of minutes in that window so it looks more natural?

A: Yes, as you describe.

Q: 5) Can I export the results of a campaign so I can filter out anyone who replied, and then run a new campaign with only people who have not yet replied?

A: Yes, you can.

Q: 6) Does it track opens/clicks/replies?

A: Yes, in addition to bounces, complaints, and unsbuscribes.

Q: 7) Do I have to include an unsubscribe link?

A: Of course.
A: Of courses, it is a cold email.

Thanks, but none of the major cold email tools make you use an unsubscribe link. With Lemlist etc it is optional (and most people would not include it because it makes it obvious it is a bulk email).

Hello,

Q: None of the major cold email tools make you use an unsubscribe link.

A: Then the email is not a cold email but a spam email.

"Then the email is not a cold email but a spam email."

Then Lemlist, Reply.io, Woodpecker, Smartreach, Outreach, etc are spam tools? None of these force you to use an unsubscribe link.

Would you consider making this optional? Having an unsubscribe link lowers the success rate of sales outreach emails by a lot.

A: No. They leave this decision to you. It is your option to follow the best practices or not.

Q: Would you consider making this optional? Having an unsubscribe link lowers the success rate of sales outreach emails by a lot.

A: In our case, it is also optional. Still not using it you are failing to comply with most regulations.

Ohh, ok I thought you were saying you MUST include an unsubscribe link on all emails. In this case it's great! I have purchased and am testing it now. I have one other question but I will make a new thread about it. Thanks!

So I have been using the tool for a little while now and spent quite a lot of time learning it. In relation to your answer to my Q1 - can I insert the original email in the follow ups, you replied "Yes, it is an option to leave the subject line empty on the follow ups to keep the emails in the same thread". But when I sent my first campaign (to real people), my follow ups were blank below the follow up message, which made them make no sense.

When I raised a support ticket your support said "At the moment, we are not adding up the original message in the follow-up. Please submit your idea at https://roadmap.mailrush.io/mailrush#/ideas". So which is it? Is this a feature currently or not? If not I will need to get a refund, and am very disappointed that you would say this is possible now when it's not.
