I have to admit, I was going to quit on this deal because I had an exceptionally poor chat support experience trying to setup my Namecheap MX records and getting the run around.

The comments you see about the amazing support is provided by Jorge and I agree with them: Jorge is awesome! A scholar and a saint! Unfortunately, I can't say the same about his support team.

After figuring out how to connect Namecheap MX records myself (turns out MailRush docs were missing a key part of the setup process), I started getting familiar with MailRush and I was impressed! MailRush is indeed a complete solution for cold outbound campaigns (and I don't even like "one-stop-shop" software).

Why did I make an exception with MailRush? Because cold outbound email is a complex process to setup. Don't believe me? Just google "tips for cold emailing" and witness your head spin. I'm leaning on Jorge's experience managing data centers to help keep my campaign deliverability high.

The good news is MailRush offers all you'll need to set up a successful cold email campaign. The not so good news is, you'll have to purchase add-ons not included in this deal. Prices are reasonable and the 30% off coupon code for the first 12 months lessens the blow.

Add-on services I purchased:

- Automated Email Warm-up: This is an add-on service and can only connect with a third-party services via API.
- Prospecting and Email Verification Tool: Only works with Sales Navigator. The regular price is 125 verified email contacts for $1.

You can also purchase a domain directly from them, along with web hosting if you don't want to deal with DNS settings.

I had to readjust my expectations.

You won't be running out of the gate sending emails galore on day 1. For example, I have a brand new domain so I'll have to purchase a warm-up add-on and takes 3 weeks without sending any outbound promotional content. After that, I can send 20 emails to start and then increase by 20% on a daily basis. This is a general recommendation Jorge kindly advised. Please note, your ramp-up depends on how your list interacts with your emails.

Room for improvement:

- I'd like to see MailRush support docs improve and be more comprehensive so I don't have to create a support ticket or bug their chat support.
- Purchasing add-ons takes time. I had to create a support ticket to enable my purchases. Less than ideal.
- Adding warm-up emails to their plans would be awesome.
