Q: How does your firewall work?

Are my visitors initially directed to your servers (how?) where you filter them out? Or is the plugin locally on my server doing this? How exactly does it work?

Also, how is the data from all the different sites segregated on your servers? What I mean is, your server(s) potentially have a lot of malicious code on them (right?) and while it would never be executed, only scanned, I'd still feel better knowing how each sites files (which contain critical information like database credentials, keys and even passwords if you're taking copies of the database itself) are segregated from one another (containers, etc).

Hi,

We are a plugin based firewall. All traffic is sent to your server and never comes to our servers.

The plugin tracks all the traffic coming to your server. It has rules in place to block requests locally. This is one part of the system. Our server at regular interval connects to the plugin and collates the traffic. It then runs advanced algorithms to identify the malicious traffic and pushes new rules in real time to your site.

We segregate all the data from the sites and everything is encrypted. There is no mixing of data.
