This was my first "just in time" versus my normal "just in case" purchases from AppSumo. I had been running the WP Defender plugin on my main site and it developed some problems that caused me to have to delete it. I still don't know what happened.

Things potential users should know:

- To get it to communicate with your site you need to install the MalCare plugin
- To enable the more robust features (recommended - why not?), you need to input your site's FTP details into the MalCare dashboard for each site
- If you choose to enable the higher-level protection features, you'll need to login to MalCare and toggle-off at least one feature, before you can manage your site. In other words, two logins to manage your site. And then toggle the advanced feature back on after you are done to lock it back down.
- The MalCare badge that appears at the bottom of your site can be toggled-off if you want
- That badge is also pre-loaded with your unique affiliate ID, so if you leave it in place and someone clicks on it any buys MalCare, you get a commission

I've used quite a few Wordpress security plugins in the past, but this is something new. Not just a plugin, but also the smart SaaS engine that enables the plugin to do what it does so well.
