MarketMuse only supports English with SERP data from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, United Kingdom, and the United States.
Support for other languages is not currently on our roadmap. Here's why:
We donāt want to simply translate the language or provide low-quality results. Our machine learning models require training across incredibly different and large datasets as well as filtering to exclude bias and inaccurate/inappropriate results. For us to effectively deliver a new language we would also require a large oversight of industry experts that are fluent and native speakers of the languages we are expanding into, in order to ensure not just quality of the data, but the quality of the recommendations. We do not want to simply feed a basic model or algo with the top 20-50 SERP items and expect the model to work appropriately across different language sets. As we consider tens of thousands of pieces of content for each recommendation and use proprietary models, it would be a disservice to our customers and the advice we provide to deviate from our commitment to data quality excellence.
Though our official language is English. And 99.9 of google.ng contents is in English language. Does it mean I can buy Marketmuse. I get relevant contents ?
Yes, MarketMuse will provide you with relevant suggestions. However, the Compete application draws from results in the search results pages (SERP). This can be set by the user to Australia, Canada, New Zealand, United Kingdom, or United States.
So, you wouldn't be able to compare your content against the competition because your competition is in the Nigeria SERP.
