Is it usefull in other languages (non-English)?

In short: Not completely, but it could be of added value to you too.

I'm allready using Frase and Textmetrics next to a keyword tool like Moz/Semrush for content creation. So I was curious if MarketMuse has an added value even if I create content in an other language than English.

I'm using it for Dutch (NL) content and IMO the usefulness of the apps Optimize, Connect and Compete in non-English languages is none.

The two apps that could be of use for non-English content creators are Research and Questions.

The Research app is good in getting a topic list. You can enter a search term (in English) and select which topics you want/don't want and then export this to an Excel spreadsheet. And you can then translate that (hint: Google translate has a function for translation).

A real gem is the Questions app. It generates a list of questions which is really usefull if you want to create meaningfull content or long tail posts related to your search term.

Allthough not all apps are usefull for non-English content creators I still think MarketMuse has a nice added value in that it produces interesting questions which are a good starting point for content creation.

Personally I'm thinking about using MarketMuse in this workflow:
1. Which keywords to go for? Harvest with keyword tool maybe in combination with the Research app of MarketMuse.
2. Generate interesting questions using MarketMuse Questions app
3. Use those questions to search in Frase for answers and add those in an article.
4. Copy content to Textmetrics and check it for onpage SEO and readability.

So I conclude that I hope the Dutch (NL) language will be supported by MarketMuse. But probably that won't be in the near future. Even then the MarketMuse questions app gives you an edge in creating meaningfull and readable content. Try it out to determine if that convinces you too. You need to buy three codes to get the Questions app and the Data Export functionality.

Thanks for the kind review! If you're wondering why MarketMuse isn't available in your language, the reason is simple.

We don’t want to just translate the language or provide low-quality results. Our machine learning models require training across incredibly different and large datasets as well as filtering to exclude bias and inaccurate/inappropriate results. For us to effectively deliver a new language we would also require a large oversight of industry experts that are fluent and native speakers of the languages we are expanding into, in order to ensure not just quality of the data, but the quality of the recommendations. We do not want to simply feed a basic model or algo with the top 20-50 SERP items and expect the model to work appropriately across different language sets. As we consider tens of thousands of pieces of content for each recommendation and use proprietary models, it would be a disservice to our customers and the advice we provide to deviate from our commitment to data quality excellence.
