The New Version of MM is better than ever
I had some challenges using the first version of MarketMuse, but this new version they just released is miles ahead better than the original version so here it goes:
https://mysoftwareadviser.com/articles/how-research-plan-and-draft-your-blog-content
🌮 RESEARCH your topics and MM will show you related topics to your chosen keyword or content topic
🌮 Once you have your topic, you can check the COMPETITION how certain keywords are distributed for each top article posted on the web
🌮 OPTIMIZE your existing content / draft and MM will give you instant insights as to the competitiveness of your writing
🌮 You can even research on QUESTIONS that people ask on the web that might be related to your topic
🌮 CONNECT internal, external, network and competition (if you identify them in your settings) links or articles
Overall, they've done a lot of work based on the feedback of us Sumolings, so I guess this should be a win-win huh?
There are still some things to work on
🌮 their platform has a "steeper" learning curve than Frase. If I were to compare the three on this aspect, I'd say: Frase > Blogely > MarketMuse
🌮 Credits.. i don't understand this part where A.I. plays a "major" role when everything is "assisted" by manually entering information on MM. Same case with Frase or Blogely - it still relies on the intelligence of the user!
🌮 Newsroom is not included. Not sure how this feature works, but if its like Peakmetrics which offered it for free to access news articles or get alerted for mentions and access to the journalist database, then I'd say MM has nothing to offer more.
🌮 ONBOARDING - I've seen none!
Great deal? Yes to a certain extent, maybe up to 3 codes, for me at least.
Cheers,
Mike

May 9, 2024Hi Mike_of_mrdzyn.com — thanks so much for leaving a review! I’m so glad you see value in the product.
Regarding the Content Briefs, I can lift the hood a bit on that! After sub-headers are provided, our AI creates a topic model for each of those sub-headers, research thousands of content around those topics, evaluate them against the domain your entered and provide recommendations based on what content and links will give that piece of content the best opportunity to perform.
Newsroom is primarily a workflow for news publishers on how to rank well in Google news (shows overlap in the News Top 20 and SERP Top 20).
For onboarding - we’re working on this. You should see in-app tips very soon :)
Thanks again for leaving a review — it means a lot!
