Underrated. But, "okayish" *deal*, bloody good product
Firstly, the negative comments / fuss about credits - I kinda get it, but also see where MM is coming from. There are naturally costs associated with the credits so it's understandable. I do believe they could've identified an optimal number of "stacks" such that the cost is approximately equal to the average lifetime cost per user for credits.
That aside, I think this product is really underrated. It's a solid one, very mature, and I reckon the $500 a month price tag is about right for what they're offering and the state of the product in its current form.
What I also like about MM is the fact that they actually communicate good marketing advice without the cheesy, corny marketing lingo (AppSumo, I'm looking at and hinting at you. Yes, Noah - you too. You too.)
It's about time someone spoke with an authoritative tone, relying on the data, math, and stats.
Speaking of data, math, and stats - I create highly technical content and courses. And it's particularly hard to find good SEO recommendations for that sort of stuff. Anyone who's done high level technical content will no doubt no exactly what I mean here.
MM's recommendations are spot on.
It literally picks up on topics / clusters that you *would need* to discuss, if you were an authority on the subject.
The optimisation recommendations also make sense, and I love - LOVE - the fact that MM is NOT focused on "gaming" the system. Rather, it's designed, and encourages users to create authoritative, high quality content.
I've already stacked 3. And I'm betting long on this, intending to stack more. I just want to see a little more data on the results. Again, the logic behind their recommendations make total sense. I'd just like that backed up with the data.
On that note is the bit of the downside. They don't include the "dashboard" and "inventory" thing. And so you don't get analytics info on rankings improvement, or how you content sits / fits with the rest of your content on site. This downside is naturally delaying my stacking, but truth be told, I almost certainly will stack more, even without the dashboard.
It just would be nice - really, really nice - to have all the info in one place. Recommendations, and the evidence of its results.
All in all though, I think it's a bloody good product, created by very talented people indeed.
And AppSumo - my word, thank you so much for bringing this deal here. It's a game changer.
