However I will do my best to answer our goals for Audiit in relation to your questions.

Audiit was created after finding that there weren't tools in the industry that gave SEO recommendations based purely on unfiltered Google data, they would instead take the data, add their own spin or theories to it, then display that to the user.

Audiit doesn't do that. Audiit scans the top 20 search results, and returns the data, and presents it to the user along with a comparison to their URL (if they input one).

Sometimes this will lead to results that go against conventional wisdom, for example none of the top 20 results may have a keyword in their H1 tag... Audiit is going to tell you that, and suggest that is what is working for that SERP... it is then up to that user to decide if they want to emulate that, or if it means that they can beat them by doing it... but in our testing you would be surprised how often letting the data be your guide rather than the conventional wisdom is correct and yields results.

The other thing we wanted to do with Audiit is keep things simple. There are SEO tools that give literally hundreds of data points, many of which just aren't needed in most cases.

We want to give the average user, blogger, affiliate marketer, or business owner (as well as SEO pro) just the data they need so they can implement it and get on to the next thing, instead of pulling out a bunch of metrics that most people won't use any way in order to charge more.

Some other features are the ability to export as a spreadsheet or .pdf, with further white label capabilities coming soon, the ability to link directly to an Audiit report even if someone doesn't have an account, and in development the ability to embed an Audiit form on a website or blog so it can be used as a lead generation tool.
