Unresolved issues with Chrome and account management
I purchased Blurweb App with Tier1. According to Appsumo Reedem instructions, I redeemed the code. In my case by installing the extension in MS Edge. License key entered there. Works so far. I find the operation there intuitive. It's a nice little tool that makes screen recording easier, for example for creating tutorials, and enables data protection or the emphasis on certain areas. Essentially it does what it's supposed to do. I can't say anything about the Zoom integration or its functions because I don't use Zoom. So positive, I can now use it in Edge, as offered in the core.
Now to the things that I didn't find so good, where improvement is definitely possible:
Tier 1 would also include use in Chrome. I use both browsers. I would also like to use it there. Identical installation and it didn't work. It keeps telling me that the license key is not valid.
Contacted support. Sanskar responded within 48 hours and sent me an alternative, new key for Chrome. Said, done and used, it didn't work again. Contacted support again. Reaction on a Sunday within 1 hour, that was great in itself. In terms of content, however, there is only a reference to an FAQ and this with the note there that I should register in incognito mode (priviate mode), then it should work. I then even: disabled all extensions (the others), cleared cache and used the mode. No success and same negative result.
In addition, you should be able to manage the license in the form of an account and thus the devices (browser) on the Blurweb App website. Could be helpful, I wanted to use it. But unfortunately this didn't work either. There you have to use the license key. Both didn't work. Unfortunately. I also had a problem with this.
I wrote to support/Sanskar again. Unfortunately there is no longer any response and no support that probably goes beyond the standard. This is a great shame. No response for a week and a reminder was also given, that was two days ago.
Summary:
Nice little tool. It works in Edge.
Support for standard cases is okay, varies over time, and beyond that is at least unclear.
It saves post-processing due to data protection with third-party apps by taking it into account directly when recording. It also indirectly allows relevant areas to be highlighted during recording.
Account management is not possible in my case, ditto installation and use in Chrome is not possible (unfortunately).
I don't do any refunds, for Tier1 I now have a nice but small tool for $17 in Edge.
There is potential for 5 tacos. But for the reasons and experience mentioned above, I can only give 3 tacos.
