We stacked two codes because we quickly realized the value that this tool brings to the table. Previously overpaying for u**back we know that a tool like this altho complicated does not and should not cost an arm and leg. Like many new players in the space, they realize the price is king. Set the cost to the right price then it's worth it. I look forward to moving my feature request board and roadmap to this tool as well.
Usually I feel inclined to write a review if there is an incentive (such as increased limits or features). But for Bugbattle it was a different story.
This is my first review where there was no incentive to review.
I felt inclined to write a review.
The service is just exceptional. It took a few minutes to integrate this with my web apps. Customizing the widget was easy and included documentation really helped. I didn't need to reach out to support for anything (except a small bug on their panel which was resolved in under a day).
They are REALLY underselling themselves (as agreed with another reviewer). This service deserves to charge more. Everything has been smooth and the included bug report details are extensive. You can even set a version code for your app that is included in reports. You can specify additional data, and if you log events then these will show in the trace. I cannot ask for more. This is a steal. Get it now.
I believe the lack of reviews is because everything has been flawless and people did a set it and forget. But this does not deserve to be forgotten.
I look forward to new features (the included is already more than enough). Anything extra is just icing on top.
Don't regret missing out on this, if you're a developer you NEED this.
You often read the creators saying their tool is easy to set-up, to use and to get results with. But these guys don't, even if it is the case.
You often hear that there are multiple options for systems, CMS etc. and then find out it is far from the truth. Here they partially show this on an image in their slideshow above but don't explain the extent of it anywhere (see list below).
You often hear we have integrations with lots of relevant systems and then you find out that most are WIP or planned, again see the fully available integration list below!
The tool not only provides a way to quickly monitor and track many key details related to a bug but also allows users to provide general feedback (text message and NPS-ish), simple feature request alongside the bug reporting feature. Again nice surprise!
The only problem I have is being frustrated they are completely underselling themselves and the system they have created, more of a 'me' problem then a 'them' problem but hey, it should hopefully incite you to have a look at this. Well, that and I would like to restrict widget access to Admins and not Editors in WP or at least have that selective option.
I bought another bug system on here and even though it seemed interesting; I found BugBattle far more mature and well rounded. Probably more Dev oriented. They are different in the way they work, the functionalities and feedback loop mechanisms and I had a distinct preference for this one. For a new system this is surprisingly well structured, with nice simple UX/UI, a good automated onboarding intro with the enthusiastic intro videos from Lukas, I'm impressed.
The support, when I came across an edge case issue, was swift and professional. The issue is already being looked into as we speak.
Is there room for improvement? Probably, just one issue in a very edgy context. Are there functionalities missing? Maybe. But with what they have so far and given they have just started, I think these guys are a good bet :)
This can be used and has specific setups/plugins for: - iOS (SDK) - Android (SDK) - ReactiveNative (SDK) - Flutter (SDK) - React (SDK) - Angular (SDK) - Vue.js (SDK) - WordPress (plugin) - Javascript (SDK)
They Integrate with all of these systems: - Jira - Trello - Slack - Github - Asana - Zapier - Awork - Notion (β) - Clickup - MS Teams - Zendesk - Webhooks
The setup took only a few minutes (I'm already done) and as it is available for web & apps, we can use one bug reporting tool for all platforms we are developing on.
I just reported my first test bug reports.
They include everything you could imagine: all important meta data, a screenshot, console & network logs, custom data and so called replays.

No brainer, alterbative to Rollbar
We're just starting with BugBattle, but the first impression is consistently positive.
Fast support, nice contact. And yes: the application is quick, responsive, easy to adopt and use.
A no-brainer for the price!
