Good start - needs some "UX" help though...

I got this at the last minute. I'm just getting into it but so far I'm a little disappointed in the UX of the app. I don't see anywhere to change my password. Giving the user a predefined password and then not forcing them to change it is not best practice. Neither is not having an option for that user to change it on their own. I'm sure I could do the "Forgot Password" option.

The dashboard "New Project" button is so far away from my view on a 34" wide screen monitor, I didn't see it at first. Why make the user move their mouse that far to click a button? I'm also getting a LOT of lag in getting screens to load.

Sorry to beat up on the product but this looks pretty unpolished for a "live" app. I've been using commercial tools in this space for a while so I've been spoiled I guess. I wish you success. I'll keep trying it out but I may be returning this one.

Password can be easily changed by going to My Profile and then selecting Change My Password.

We did not observe the lag in the screen loading but we will look into the issue and take corrective actions.

might be OK, but the site won't load!

I have tried to give this a try, but unfortunately they have an issue serving up their pages. It took forever to get the redemption page to open (literally four attempts at different times), and now I can't open the email verifcation page at all. The issue isn't on my end as all other types of pages are connecting fine (and I've tried their page on various browsers).
This doesn't fill me with confidence.

Too crude, not ready for AppSumo

After a long deliberation I'm giving it 3 tacos.
Here's my personal impression of the app, yours might be different.

The app does not make mapping of a marketing Persona or a Customer Journey any easier than just filling out your own template in a spreadsheet, or a form, or an airtable.
The Persona, Empathy, Journey etc mapping areas are essentially editors and the created "maps" are tables with colored rows. You can add new rows, for example "Pain Points" in Persona and populate the row with separate blocks that describe what pain points the Persona has. Functionally, there is nothing in these map areas that you can not have in a modern spreadsheet app or a table app.
Aesthetically the maps look very crude, I would not show them to any of my clients.

The provided Persona/Journey/Modular templates are rather rudimentary, you need either to build on them or create your own from scratch.
The same goes for the Journey and the Module areas.

I don't see how this app will make my work easier or even different.

Some other cons:
- Few days ago, the support was via a whatsapp chat, today it was replaced by an embedded chat but nobody answered my call;
- Yesterday the "?" button was opening a search field that, alas, did not respond to any keywords. Today the search field turns into a dropdown with Tutorial-like titles shown but, alas, clicking any of the titles did not lead to any help documents;
- Today we've also got zoom buttons "+" and "-" but none of them work. Most likely they will start working tomorrow:-);
It seems that the development is going as we speak and it's done by a very small team. Vanishingly small.
I don't feel comfortable continuing with this tool.

Lots of potential

I got this the day it launched but haven't had much time to explore it fully. It has everything I need to get started - personas, empathy maps, journey maps, BMC and templates. This seems like a good starting point and I strongly feel the founders will help it grow.

So why did I decide to buy this rather than use some of the free tools out there for the basics? I am investing in the future! I didn't see the AS plan on their website. I think it is a custom plan with all future updates involves exceptionalities with limitation on users and projects. I hope this is correct! The projects can be deleted so as long as you don't exceed 50 at a time, you are golden. Alternatively with 5 codes you can upgrade to the startup plan and remove the users and project limitations!

What I would like to see. - your roadmap is static. How can users suggest/upvote features?

pleasantly surprised. Motivated team. nice app built by CXperts

I am always hesitant to try out something in the AS Marketplace; the deals there tend to be hit or miss. this one is a hit. The app is functional; could it use more development and polishing? Sure, but it does what it says it does. More importantly, the group who built this clearly knows about CX. Could it use more templates? sure, could it use some more polish? sure. But these folks get the concept of what is important. Moreover, they seem to be very focused on listening to feedback and building out the product.

Who this is for (at present)
1: Serving "The siloed expert" Presently, I'm using this with government scientists who 1: are experts in their fields but have little to no knowledge or awareness of CX or project management methodology/terminology. To these folks, the concept of CX is novel, but getting their ideas circulated (and then funded) is more important and more competitive than ever. To the siloed expert, the concept of CX is very interesting (hitherto unheard of competitive advantage) and this app is a low-cost way to bring things up to speed quickly.

2: "the kitchen gadget enthusiast" The consultant who likes to have a tool for everything

Who this might not be for: If you have an established team that is already established in using a similar app, it might be hard to convince them to switch over to something new (at this stage anyway)

Summary: a great addition to the toolbox even if you don't already have a use case in mind. Superb if working with CX newbies. 3.5/5 stars if rating as a snapshot in time (no future development) and 5+/5 if the development/feature trend continues.

Also, It would be great to learn a little more about the team behind this.
