DoneDone Has Done It!

I am really happy with DoneDone. Below, I've detailed some PROS and cons, where the cons are more of a WISH LIST.

βœ… PROS
1. Performance. DoneDone is fast. When you do something in the app, feedback is instantaneous.

2. Reliability. I'm still new, but I haven't encountered any weird errors messages or save actions that don't work. DoneDone is a production app. In no way does it look or behave like beta software. You can start using it today.

3. User Interface. User interfaces are a matter of taste. DoneDone's UI is beautiful. I like it a lot. Also, it's polished. Everything seems finished. There aren't under-designed areas that look missed or just ill-conceived. I'm more than comfortable lettign customers see an use DoneDone.

4. User Experience. DoneDone is really straight-forward. The walkthroughs during setup are really helpful, but DoneDone is easy enough to use that you might not need them. It's just smooth. Functionality is where you instinctively think the functionality should be.

5. I haven't done this yet, but it seems you can actually set up multiple companies within the limits of your plan. That's really cool. I don't have a need for it now, but it's something I could see myself exploring in the future.

6. I maxed out the codes. The team member limits are generous, with plenty of room to add customers.

7. When you receive a support request, you can link it to a bug or features. This is VERY useful. When you serve customers, it's important to close feedback loops. Relationship-linking enables that while eliminating the need for double-entry in another tool. It's a killer feature, and now that I have it, I think bug tracking and support should be married in every tool. Yes, you can do this wth Jira and ServiceDesk, but it's considerably more cumbersome, and it's way more expensive.

8. Setup. Adding projects and assigning tasks is a breeze. The priorities are color codes, and they should a cell strength type meter to accompany the color. It's a nice touch.

9. Dashboard. You can easily see what you need to do and when you need to do it. The dashboard gives you an at-a-glance view of your assigned work. You can access all your work in a click.

10. Support. I had a question while setting up my outbound mailbox and had resolution within a half hour.

11. Outbound email. You get SPF and DKIM. Your emails won't go to spam.

12. Web Form. You can create a web form to submit new tickets directly to your project.

🚧 WISH LIST
1. My #1 wish 🀩 is a stacking option for unlimited projects. I run a small agency, and I already have 9 projects. Even with 3 stacked codes, I'll run out of capacity early, unless I delete archived projects.

2. Notifications are shown via a badge in DoneDone as well as an email from notifications@donedone.com. I would like browser notifications from Chrome/Safari on my Mac.

3. Chrome lets you install some sites as apps. That would be useful for DoneDone.

4. As others have asked, and iOS app would be great.

Hey Interwebs,

Thank you so much for thorough review and your support! It really mines a lot to a small team like our own. πŸ™‚

Many of your feature requests are already on our roadmap. Just make sure to upvote your favorites! I've also added an idea regarding Google Chrome notifications.

We also have good news on the code stacking front. We just released an update that provides unlimited projects and mailboxes with 4 codes in addition to larger team limits.

Thanks again for your feedback and support!
