Is there no way to add multiple users via CSV Import? Under the team management section, the only way to add users is to invite them one at a time. This is extremely time consuming and arduous, especially when you have over 100 users.
We currently have no option to invite / add backend users via CSV import. It would be a nice addition though and I will make sure this is added in one of the next updates.
I came to you because I am a buyer of notice.studio and I received a message about the breach of the agreement. They now want to charge the sumolings. How do you prepare yourself so that you don't have the same attitude after the agreement? Is your company serious and stable?
I don't know what this means: "How do you prepare yourself so that you don't have the same attitude after the agreement?". What happened with "notice.studio"?
But our company (https://ivymayhem.io) is serious and stable, yes. We are a very small team, running multiple platforms, so I feel obliged to mention that while we regularly update our platforms and add new features, we're not as fast as big teams shipping new features.
Sorry, Andreas, my message was never intended to question your company. I just need to formally express my concern about acquiring a new deal, which is meant to replace a deal I already purchased before on AppSumo. Today, I received a message that they are changing the deal to charge the Sumolings monthly because they were unable to keep the company financially healthy.
Got it, thanks for clarifying. We won't do that, don't worry. All our platforms are essentially paying for themselves (without AppSumo), we have multiple income streams into the company and we're a small team with not too many expenses.
Q: New editor & API
Hey,
I've read in the comments about the new editor (which was planned for the end of February if I've seen it correctly). Also inside Eniston it's statet to be finished to 95% inside one changelog entry. How's the current status about it? I've some articles to create and it probably makes sense to do this in the new editor.
Another question... Are there plans to extend the API functionality to be able to create and upate articles too? Would love to automate some of my technical documentations.
Ah well, the new editor... đź« We had a fully functional, custom editor based on TipTap up and running but we were having problems extending existing plugins and also writing custom plugins that we needed / wanted. We then implemented another (better) third-party solution that was easier to extend and that's what we plan to ship soon.
So yeah, we lost a lot of time because of this. Maybe in a future update we will resume working on the fully custom editor, but for now, a better third-party solution should do it (hopefully).
Yes, we still plan to offer a POST API. But we'll be working on multiple languages (categories and articles in different languages) before that and also improve the auto-save functionality for articles.
There's a lot of stuff planned, but we don't make enough money yet to hire another developer.
thanks for the honest feedback! In my opinion, slow and sustainable is exactly the right way to go.
I also see absolutely no problem with the third party editor :)
But the question I ask myself at this point is whether I wait for the new editor with the new articles or still create them in the old one. Give me a hint - is “soon” so close that I should wait for it?
It is planned that all articles written with the current editor will be migrated to the new one. That's what I'm currently working on; including a roll-back function if things go wrong. So, ideally, it won't matter if you start now or wait for a couple more days. I feel like I MUST finally release this next update as it's been way too long. So, I'd say "soon" means within the next 2 weeks.
Thanks Andreas, then I'll wait for the editor update :) Looking forward to it :)
Q: Can Eniston answer multiple/many questions at one time? time
1 prompt at a time? Or is there anyway to me to create an instant FAQ document where I can upload a document full with 200 questions, then Eniston answer all the 200 questions (based on knowledge database) and put all the 200 question + 200 answers into one new document. Can Eniston do that?
While I'm still new-ish to using Eniston's platform, the many integrations that Eniston supports provide multiple different "live / automatic" options that will provide answers from Eniston articles. Set the "learning" bases for those chat features to your Eniston KB address and step back....one of my early sandbox's: https://walkamile.eniston.com/ Best of luck
Thanks for your suggestion but can you explain a little further ? What addition saas (or apps) that can intergrate with eniston so that it can meet my purpose? :) Btw, what is eniston KB address? You mean Eniston subdomain?
Q: Can we use our own server or Google storage ?
Can this tool integrate with open ai or Chatgpt where for every searching, it will automatically compared with the database, and then response it intelligently with ai, like what chatbot or Chatgpt can answer intelligently.
How big is the storage of knowledge we can store? Unlimited? Can we store pdf, excel, document, image files and video files for the knowledge base?
Does this tool have option to integrate with our own internal private server ? (Due to confidentiality)
Can this tool integrate with our our own google storage ?
A chatbot is currently not included. But we're building a dedicated, custom solution for this (tinydub.com). eniston customers will get a big discount once this is available.
The storage is not limited at the moment. But there is an upload limit per file and you can only add images to articles. Any other file type can be added as an attachment to an article.
We currently do not offer support for third-party storage providers and we do not offer a self-hosting solution.
eniston was launched in September 2020 and it's not our only product and we have no plans to discontinue or abandon it. In fact, we're currently preparing the next update and have many more things planned.

No, this is not what eniston does - at all. Maybe check out the home page (eniston.io) to get an understanding of what it's used for.

Thanks.
How long does Eniston in the market? I don't want to buy just to know next year, the company discontinue or software abandoned.
Is there any free trial for the "business" plan?
