NO, I did not install the Addons plugin on any sites yet and will not do it right away. But I did activate the Appsumo purchase code and I see it in my Account under Item.
So, until I install at least one I will see the Purchase Pro version prompt in my account?
Can you please clarify in which My Account area are you seeing this notice?

I think there is a bit of a misunderstanding. I am having the same issue. After I activated my code, I went to download the license and it is asking me to upgrade. This is what shows. I just copied and pasted since I don't see an option for a screenshot.
