Even though this deal is not active, I am hoping it comes back so I can buy my wife a copy. I am tired of her sending me her file conversions.
I no longer have to use free tools to convert files such as HEIC to jpg and then get followed by ads forever. Now I have an amazing tool right on my desktop that does the trick.
I'm sure I haven't scratched the surface with what could be done here, but this is definitely 5 tacos or me!
The interface is good and the product promises much.
However, so far my conversion attempts using this tool have largely failed. For example, converting a MS Publisher file to PDF (easy enough to do for free with Zamzar) consistently produces an error "The given key was not present in the dictionary". I've submitted an example for investigation.
I'm hopeful that these are teething problems and that any issues can be resolved quickly. Otherwise most likely that this will be a swift refund.

I have sent multiple emails regarding my Filestar Redemption. Have not got any response from either hello@filestar.com or niels@filestar.com for over 10 days now. I really loved the concept of Filestar but I am highly disappointed for not getting any support response and feel like they have abandoned the product. Please clarify if you are abandoning Filestar and not planning to launch the Mac version of the app and resolve my redemption issue.

Sorry, you didn't get a prompt response from us. We are 100% committed to delivering a Mac version. That is actually why we are so bad at support at the moment as we are working day and night to finish this port. You don't need to do anything with redemption now. Just keep the code.
I converted about 200 files since I've it and it works like magic. One of those did crash or the connection broke, no idea? But I just queued it again without troubles.
I only think the application could be more interactive/responsive.
It's really worth the money instead of always looking for a converting free tool. It saves so much time!
