This software is simply amazing. Kudos to Mr Niels Bosma for coming up with such a brilliant design. I boughtens of ApowerSoft converter products and Ashampoo products and tried lots and lots more online, direct run softwares and software with setup. I can make a big statement that none of them come even close to this software. I am just writing this review on the same day of purchase without even thinking of some teething time, so understand how confident I am that I won't have to change my opinion.

What I liked in the tool:
* The simple design (it is THE simplest in fact)
* LTD which will make it more useful over the days & years when technology keeps changing
* auto-activate all skills for you as you need them, no product updates, patch downloads etc. Just open, start using, and it updates itself as the need arises, just in time for the need
* The main UI remains your only interface regardless of the file type and activity to start
* Auto-detect of the file type and proactive suggestion by the SW on what can be done with it (first in a ready list of buttons right below the file, and then the drop down of full list)
* Ideally, such a thing should run from cloud all along. Perhaps they chose design to run on your machine to save the bandwidth and server resource. I can see this as a + and - both. For large files, this is a sure +. For small files and quick cases of working on a team project or from an outside place, it'd have been better to think of a web portal access for small files as downloading skills wouldn't even be necessary in such setup. Running from cloud would also remove the platform dependency on Windows/Mac and also avoids the issues related to downloaded SW (such as SW release versioning, securing files on server etc). The company already uses Azure so I am not sure why that design decision was done. May be they can consider to evolve the product into hybrid use to minimize dependency of thick client at least wherever possible.
* and the intuitive UI and the simplicity - I have to tell this twice as it truly deserves so.
