I got the idea of Gantt.io a few years ago when I was preparing proposal for IT development projects for prospects. I was very detail oriented and prepared high quality printed bids. I liked to include a simplified Gantt chart so that the client could visualize the stages of his project. However, I had problems with the design because no software on the market was capable of creating a high-resolution Gantt chart with advanced color customization in order to match it with my branding.

When we started developing the software, we went far beyond the need to create beautiful Gantt charts. We implemented for example horizontal and vertical lanes and markers. We are the only software that allows this. And as you know, it's the details that convince an audience.

We have also implemented dependencies and milestones that can create timelines without tasks.

Of course, there are many predefined styles that allow you to create Gantt charts with no time. You can then customize them according to your needs and preferences, whether it be for shapes, colors, fonts, etc.

Although our software is mainly used to create Gantt charts for presentations, it is also possible to use Gantt.io to plan your projects and collaborate with other users in a continuous and simultaneous way.
