Dear GrowthClub fam, I hope you have been enjoying the 1-1s. Last week's Friday we decided to do a big change with our company - we are going to pursue a new market & a new idea. In short, it will be about making online courses truly social. To give us the best focus and best shot at the new idea, we won't have the resources to continue 1-1s & acquire new members. However, we will be moving to ClubHouse! For the monthly subscribers, we have already stopped all payments, so you won't be charged anymore (do let us know if you want to support us still for the ClubHouse meetups!). If you are a lifetime subscriber on AppSumo and wish to refund, you will be able to refund if you have done a purchase in the last 60 days. We will be hosting a monthly ClubHouse session for all our customers for the next 3 months at least - just because you guys really rock and I want to keep in touch with you. In our first ClubHouse meeting on Friday 15th, I will explain the reasons and what our are plans for the near future.
The time of the meeting is preliminary 1 pm ET but we will adjust it later after collecting the availability and determining the optimal time for everyone.

Within a week of joining the GrowthClub community there was a great match w/ a fellow founder and we had a great chat. Meeting other founders and offering one another help is a solid core of a entrepreneurial community and GrowthClub has the matching algorithm dialed in. One or two great calls makes it all very much worth while. Be well. <M>
GrowthClub is a great solution for keeping me accountable to my goals. I've met a load of great people and the features are great, along with the founders listening intently to feedback and implementing things or changing things quickly. The platform quality of calls is outstanding and so therefore I can only recommend it to other founders (not even just solo founders!).
IMHO right now it's a 3.5 but it could go either way and end up being a 5, or even a 1!
The Pros' - On the positive side this is a good idea, it has the potential to deliver real value in the form of social interaction, feedback, motivation, mentoring and collaboration. - The Slack community is positive and fairly active, not yet thriving nor yet appearing to struggle. It perhaps feels to me like it could go either way at the moment , but these things for users are to some extent a case of "the more you put in, the more you will get out, usually" mostly I am positive about it, So on that theme I will try to put more in soon once I get some time and see what happens. I think that once the core service of the meetings are working better the Slack community will become more active and useful. I feel it's already close to proving worth while and I'm hopeful if I reach out it will be useful. - The founder seems very engaged and is clearly trying to build the value of this community, I'm reasonably confident he will succeed.
The Cons
- The core of this is valuable meetings with other entrepreneurs, but it's not working well yet. The founder is clearly trying hard to address this by changing how meetings are arranged etc. but from my limited experience so far the failure rate is 100% but that's not the founders fault, here are my results
Meeting #1 - Failed to meet, my fault I was a "no show" having missed the email notifications. However I did manage to rearrange the meeting. I don't feel I got any value out of the meeting myself despite having invested some time looking at the counterparties project.
Meeting #2 - Failed to meet, the counterparty failed to turn up. So a waste of my time.
Meeting #3 - Failed to meet, the counterparty failed to turn up. So a waste of my time.
So right now I'm feeling pretty irritated with this project it's been a waste of time and money, yet I am still hopeful it will deliver and if it does deliver I think it will payback well.
Overall I would encourage you to try it out, I think it's worth a shot because it could be so very useful, but please if you do turn up at meetings and remember to give as well as take!

The growth club is definitely still working out the kinks in their processes, but overall has proved to be a great accountability and networking tool. If you are looking for a real way to connect with other entrepreneurs, look no further.
