I'm Max, co-founder of GrowthClub, and I am very excited to have the opportunity to introduce GrowthClub to this amazing community.

I was previously a front-end engineer, then 1.5 years ago I quit the job to work on some of my ideas (Edtech / SaaS / Platforms). Iterated over 4 of them until we had a successful launch of GrowthClub on ProductHunt. Now I am working on GrowthClub for 9 months, together with my co-founder, Dima. We secured seed funding, and we are very close to being profitable already, so happy to announce that we have a runway to make this community truly great.

GrowthClub started as a side project in Oct 2020, where we would organize weekly peer coaching meetings with friends. We would coach each other on business and life topics. It was very useful to zoom out of the daily grind and strategize together. We noticed that this was particularly useful for founders, as even when you have a co-founder you always need diverse perspectives and advice. That is how GrowthClub came to life - online weekly 1-on-1 peer support calls with founders from all around the world.

Now in GrowthClub we have a great startup community, based on 1-on-1 video calls, where you meet a different founder every time. Why video-calls? Because this is the best way to dive deep in your startup, get good feedback from other members, and build genuine connections.

So why GrowthClub and not other startup communities or networking websites?

- Higher quality of members. Because we are a closed paid community, our members are much more committed and are generally more successful.

- Video calls with real humans. Unlike forum-based communities, we are all about video-calls. Therefore you have space to have an in-depth discussion and get to know each other well.

- Structured calls. We have dynamic agenda & weekly goal-setting that makes the conversation more serious and useful.

FAQ

- Who are the founders? At the time of launch, we had 30 founders from 15 countries with average monthly-recurring revenue of $5000 across the community. Mostly those are early-stage founders building software-based products, we also got few in e-commerce and consulting business. B2B SaaS, platforms, consulting firms.

- How you manage the quality of founders if you are letting everybody in? Yes, we will be letting everybody in. However, we may introduce different leagues, if the level of founders will vary a lot. In other words, you will be meeting founders of your level.

- How do you deal with no-shows? It can be very annoying when your partner doesn't show up for the call. So we treat this matter seriously. Your account gets suspended for 1 month if you no-show 2 meetings in a 4 week period without any warning.
