I skipped over this a few times thinking I could just build the business plan on my own or lean on ChatGPT. You certainly can, but the way this is laid out brought up so many things I would have otherwise missed and it broke it down perfectly into manageable chunks in a well organized workflow. The interface is intuitive and the service is rock solid, I will hand it to them, this one more than earns the 5 tacos for what it is. Is it for everyone? No probably not, but for the vast majority of people this is going to greatly improve any business plan you would have otherwise put together. Solid value, highly recommend if it interests you in the slightest.

Very happy to get this tool in my tech stack, I'm a business developer that have to score business ideas fast, and this tool let me explain really easy the start point and forecast to CEOs and business decissors. There are so many ways they could have gone wrong trying to build a general-purpose business planning tool, but they nailed it. The interface is smooth and the workflow is superb. The product leads you from concept to launch. They put a lot of work into the financial modeling. It's a very solid system and a great purchase.

The interface is clean and the step-by-step breakdown makes planning feel manageable instead of overwhelming.

IdeaBuddy is essentially a guide to help you create an implementable plan, helping you to trim any unnecessary data and stick to what is important. It fleshes out your plan with AI by expanding on your business summary, which could be a simple sentence, but from my experience, it would be much better if you took the time out to flesh it out some more, using as many of the allowed 10,000 characters as you can. I found it incredibly helpful in creating my financials, as the AI tool generated expenses that were not considered when drafting my initial plan, even suggesting an offering that we could easily provide but had not considered. In all, it helped me get a better picture of my business than I could have created on my own or with any other generic AI tool. There are, of course, minor improvements that I would like to see:
1. Month-to-month revenue chart does not extend beyond one year; you can only view quarterly revenue if you want to see five years ahead.
2. Ability to further customise how your plan is displayed, such as shrink or expand tables or images.
3. Ability to include other analyses outside SWOT, such as PESTLE, VRIO, etc. Users should also be able to toggle off parts of the outline they don't want or need.
These are just suggestions and do not in any way affect how effective this application is. I definitely will be using it going forward.
