I've been looking for business plan software to assist with creating a business plan for a new venture. IdeaBuddy seems to approach this from a different perspective. With traditional business plan software, you answer a series of questions for each section to write the content for the section. My first impression of IdeaBuddy is that it's more about collecting lots of information about your idea, then helping you to organize it into a cohesive plan. This is just a preliminary explanation though. I may have more thoughts after I've generated my first business plan. Although the Tier-1 deal is limited to generating a single business plan, it's a true LTD in the sense that you can delete the current plan and generate a new plan as many times as you want. However, it's a bummer that they don't include the whiteboard in the LTD. Many people have inquired about this and they keep responding that it's due to "technical limitations", but I have no idea what that means. If the feature is available to monthly subscribers, it shouldn't be that hard to make it available to AppSumo users.
