OMG! Where have you been all my life?
I have been looking for an application/service like this for over a year and could never find one. Thank goodness I stumbled upon it here on Appsumo. It provides the key service I was looking for, being able to access the actual file via a URL. Share my Image solves a lot of problems.
I use GroovePages, which is like a WIX building site for webpages. I could not add animated GIF's easily, and free sites limit the size. Share My Image produced a full-sized GIF file that I could import using the HTML function.
