Share My Image – Video & Image Hosting with Fast Sharing & Secure Storage Reviews

I have been using this platform for several weeks and have found it to be lacking in several key areas. The folder structure is confusing and difficult to navigate, making it hard to locate or organize images. Additionally, the platform does not allow sharing an entire folder; when I copy a link, it only includes the last part of the URL, not the full path. This limitation severely hampers collaboration.

There is no Windows application available for download on the official website, despite an announcement on the AppSumo page in September 2025 that an application will be released soon. Until that release, users are forced to rely on the web interface, which is not ideal for many workflows.

Given the numerous alternatives available that offer better folder management, intuitive navigation, and robust sharing capabilities, I do not consider this platform a suitable option for shared image needs. I will be returning the product.

I've picked up many great tools on AppSumo, but not many of them are this useful right out of the box. I've used Share My Image quite a bit since purchase, and it's proven to be both useful and robust.

For me, I bulk-load lots of social media posts, and most platforms require an image URL for this. Enter Share My Image; rather than using something like your WordPress blog for hosting, here's a great alternative. It works very well and offers many options. Highly recommended!

This is exactly what I needed. I recently had an issue with several websites that I manage where the theme developer removed a very key feature from the code and videos were no longer able to stream. I didn't want to use YouTube for that purpose and I've been looking for a solution that would solve the problem.

I definitely recommend this product. I have only used the video hosting feature and have not tapped in to your other features but if they are anything like this, it's an excellent product.

User Interface and Navigation

Downloading Limitations
• No option for bulk downloading images or videos directly from the site.
• Users receive a list of links for downloads, requiring use of third-party programs.
◦ Each user must independently figure out the download process or be guided through it.

Sharing and Usability
• Sharing content is cumbersome due to the complex download process for others.
• Not suitable as a replacement for mainstream image sharing programs like Dropbox.

Best Use Case
• Effective for hosting videos and photos online for website reference.
• Not recommended for collaborative sharing or easy bulk access.

I bought this because i wanted to build a dynamic directory of deals and i needed a solution to host the scraped product images temporarily and autodelete.

The website does show an API is available and yet upon trying with N8N i got an error stating image uploading has been disabled.

Checking in with support they confirmed that image uploading via URLs is disabled. So i was forced to refund this.

Other than my annoyance that an API is listed but they don't allow image uploading via URLs it actually works fine.
