I think the best I can say is that it may very well work as it states. I did not get that far. I am an educator and if my students had that many spelling errors, I would give them a D-. Everywhere!
The UiX is pleasant (very nice in the dark mode!). Just is not SLEEK enough looking style-wise for me. Also, my MAIN purpose was the accounting software. Too basic. I feel I can do just as well using other software like Better Sheets.
I feel like some others regarding the look of the invoices. I would not use them. I have other software that can provide these, so I did not care that it was not attractive.
I'm returning the software ASAP. I do wish the developers luck and really only wrote this to help. (If you would like me to help with proofreading, I'm sure we can work something out. www.aiboss.us ask for me and I will help! I'm an author/journalist/editor and yep, ESL teacher-formerly) For sure, if you upgrade as stated and have few if any typos, I'll review and revise my taco rating. As it stands now it's average.

Thank you so much for your review. When it comes to spelling errors or typos, we might have missed them and we will definitely address them. It would help if you could give an example but eitherway it's fine, we will look into this and address them asap.
It would also help if you could send a link or screenshot or any reference of your preferred invoice templates, cause we definitely want to improve our designs, so any reference of professional templates would really help. We currently have 7 templates, they were mostly built discussing with other members and as per their suggestions so always open to more suggestions and feedbacks.
When it comes to accounting, we are more comparable to freshbooks, we allow users to add expenses, other incomes, add additional records like other assets and all. You can generate P/L statement, balance sheet etc. Can you please tell me what features you're looking for in an accounting software? Just so we can take them down as notes.
We definitely want to improve and make this a much better software, so really appreciate your feedback.
The UI looks half baked, the UX is OK, there are a few features that lack like a custom domain, and I have to say, the invoices are very ugly, probably the ugliest I saw.
The worst part is that they stick their massive logo in everything, which completely kills the appeal of this software.
They also don't seem to be very proactive about fixing known bugs
When I tried to pick a different date in the P&L Section date filter (I didn't try other filters, not sure if they are broken), the filter would just go away when I clicked on "apply" without actually changing the dates.
I tried to contact their support to fix this issue and they said that they know it is "a bit buggy" and gave me a half fix, meaning they know this bug exists, but they don't bother to fix it, not a very good sign.
Overall, this invoicing system is lacking in many things and doesn't look very promising either, I chose to request a refund right after I got their response about my bug report, there are better options on Appsumo.

I am really sorry you feel that way, but when it comes to invoice templates, they were mostly built as per user feedback and suggestions. If you could send us some examples of what you like, we could build one modeling after that and release a new one. If you could provide us with some more details on what you don't like or how you feel it should have been, we could have improved on it.
We currently show our logo in two areas, one greyed out logo at the bottom of invoice emails and another at the bottom of the invoice link with a size of 80px. We are working on releasing our white label option, I know it was supposed to be released by now, but we ran into some issues while testing it, so we didn't deploy it yet. We are working to resolve them and release it asap!
As for the P&L Statement's bug, when you reported that via chat, I told you that we are aware of it and it's on our list of issues. I gave you a temporary workaround while we fix it for good. We are proactive in addressing the bugs and issues but we need little more than 1 day to resolve some issues and sometimes longer depending on the complexity and dependancies. On top of that, we had a holiday yesterday so we were not able to release any fix yet.
The thing is we had released a big update recently and since it was a major structural upgrade, so we ran into lot of compatibility issues. Since then we have been proactively resolving bugs and also working on new features.
We have been working really hard, trying to make this into a better software a value for money for all our users I really wish you had at least used our system for a week or two before giving us a 1 star review.
I got this deal because of it's high number of positive reviews, and I quickly learned why this is the case.
One of the FIRST things you see inside the app is an offer to get 500 more customer profiles (essentially doubling the allowance) - for leaving a review. This means that 99% of the reviews in this product page are fake/hasn't used the software for more than 5 minutes.
While the software looks OK, there are two massive deal-breakers that makes me want to instantly refund it:
1. Whitelabelling is locked behind an additional monthly payment (which hasn't been released yet) so you're stuck with obnoxiously huge logos and branding from Invoice Crowd ON EVERY INVOICE and when the upgrade does release, you'll pay monthly - great lifetime deal! /sarcasm 2. There's no expense management, and although they say they will have it in the future I wouldn't hold my breath. 3. Templates are awful, there's only 6 of them, and they support very little editing of any kind. Yes, you can tweak the colours and fonts, but good luck editing fields or any structural part of the invoice.
I can't imagine what small business owner would send out invoices that look this bad, and have InvoiceCrowd branding on it (in huge letters!) - it would be embarrasing! I could understand if it you had branding on the free version, that's fair enough, but for paid customers to have this level of branding is insane.
I'm starting to think it's worth paying the big bucks for established players in this space like Quickbooks, Xero, etc. as all these copy companies are just half-baked.

If we offer everything on LTD and then fail to sustain the system, I don't think it would be worth it, so that's why we are thinking of releasing some useful features that upper tier users wouldn't mind paying and it will allow us support our system better.

The templates that we have created were mostly based off of our user's suggestions. Design is very subjective so it's difficult to appease everyone with a design. If you have any preference, please feel free to send it out to us and we will look into the possibility of releasing a new one based off of the same.
We are a start up while quickbooks, xero are industry leaders, we are no where their standard but we are working really hard to make our software more premium. We have been here on appsumo for a while now and during this time we have constantly tried to improve our system and improve user experience. I only wish you could take a chance in us and used our system for at least a week or two before deciding to give us 1 taco.
Considering the other enterprise options out there and their costs. There is a ton of value within this application and the simplicity of using it. This will save you lots of time and create standard processes that are automated and allow you to focus on adding value to your customers in other ways. I highly recommend to consider this tool as part of your business tech stack.

You can customize invoice templates by clicking over here https://i.imgur.com/E0qfTiJ.png we currently allow you to make color based backgrounds and not image based. The problem with allowing too much customization is during pdf generation, html to pdf is tricky and lot of things don't work the same so chances are that your changes won't translate properly while you download the invoice. But please do let us know what more changes you need and we will explore the possibilities.
