Q: Love this idea!
Question when I was looking up the YouTube policies I found this from someone. Are these using YouTube servers? I saw the examples you gave for Amazon but I didn't see videos on their pages.
"I would assume that it does violate YouTube's TOS, looking at the source code, this 'player' is actually directly embedding from googles servers, not embedding the YouTube video. I assume that violates the same policy as downloading videos, and it is somewhat abuse of their servers. It is extremely unlikely that you would face any consequences for using it, but the developers might.
You also run the risk of YouTube changing something internally which changes the location of the videos on YouTube's servers (breaking the player). I'd recommend either using the standard YouTube player, or a custom hosting option."

May 15, 2024A: As Amazon change the layout of their products pages on regular basis so they have removed those videos. But you can check these pages for reference:
