Excellent!
I only played with it for 20-30 minutes following the pretty nice playground provided and am very impressed. While one may say its obvious that the playground stuff must be working, just look at the code — it's crisp and clean.
Even though you aren't a developer, you can start designing and hand it over to someone to stitch it together for you — saving thousands of dollars for a mid-sized project.
The following would on my wishlist but maybe a too big ask since I don't know if Figma would allow such a thing (so it might not be a limitation of the solution rather Figma itself).
1. Option to ask for sync all changes when leaving Figma
2. Sync back changes from within Overlay (e.g. style change in overlay pushed back into Figma).
3. I might have missed it: Developer hand off = zip all/selected and export all files (I can imagine a lot of people will want to transfer the files to freelancers.
4. You guys seem to know your stuff — why don't you offer a course from design system to Web-& Mobile App - you would open a new revenue stream while attracting an additional audience.
A final thing I completely might not get as of now and would love to hear your thoughts:
I am exporting static components (with props for React or Vue), however, the web isn't static and any appealing site or app has some transitions or animations. Any plans to cover that? (e.g. allowing to apply transitions that already exist in vue or alpine with a click off a button? How cool would that be...

May 9, 2024Wow! that's an awesome feedback! So proud and happy our tool helped you that much!
To answer your points :
1. and 2. >> About sync, that would be awesome indeed. To be transparent, our main focus now is to keep improving the code, ship new frameworks and more advanced features like component states.
3. About downloading a ZIP >> In the near future roadmap!
4. A course to go from Figma to code ? >> Great idea! Maybe the first step would be to work on more advanced video tutorials to go with the playground file :)
About animations and transitions? Figma just realeased interactive components, so indeed there might be something interesting to do with it, definitly!!
All the best, and again, thanks a lot!!
