Pre-Chat Forms Many of our customers have requested pre-chat forms for the website chat widget we provide. This build is now complete and a live option in the Rake workspace. These forms are built in a new 'templates' Rake category. The forms are smart forms in that they allow for rules and stacking associated with when they appear in the chat widget and how visitors use them.
Late March release In very late March of this year, we plan to push our first iteration of OUTBOUND MESSAGING. Outbound Messaging can be thought of as automated campaigns with smart rules applied to who receives the campaign, what to do with message replies and more. Our first release will include single outbound message capability. This will essentially feel like you're sending someone an SMS text from your Rake workspace.
Universal Channels At first glance, universal channels seem similar to guest functionality found in many messaging platforms. Upon further review, you'll agree Rake's Universal Channels are a stand-out feature in the Rake universal messaging platform. A Universal Channel from Rake allows users (guests) to fully participate in the channel while using their preferred messaging platform like SMS and WhatsApp. This means the guest will likely never see or use the Rake app and will never be exposed to your Rake workspace. We built this to help you host better conversations with more participation and less complaints about not liking Slack or not knowing how to use Monday.com.
Buying the project option. How many administrator accounts can be created. That is, I am the platform owner and administrator. But allows me to create other users with administrator privileges?

3. What happens if I exceed 5,000 users? Is there a plan to increase the number of users?
4. How much is the maximum space per user? And if this space runs out, what plans do we have to increase them?

But I tried to do this in the trial version and I couldn't assign users to a chat by default and exclusive.
You can have multiple administrators per project - the number is only limited by your workspace user limit.
If you exceed 5,000 users you would purchase more user seats which we will sell to you directly at the same per user fee rate you began your workspace/project
Storage per user is capped at 25GB

Q: Who are "users", exactly?
If it says 2,000 users? Is that the same as "agents" (employees answers questions from site visitors?
We're an online language school. I want to have one widget on our website for a couple of people to answer sales questions.
But for logged in users we need a separate widget for students to message their teachers, currently we have 12 teachers but that number could grow or shrinks. Would these teachers fall under the 2,000 users?
And for this logged-in widget, can we auto-prompt a question like "What's your name" and "Which teacher would you like to speak to?" if they're not able to already automatically select the teacher they want.
Sorry for the delay here. Users are people who can log into your workspace and people you invite to any Universal Channel you may create. Thinking of Users as Agents is safe.
As for a widget for people (students) who have logged in - Rake can handle this IF the full web page is exclusive to logged in users.

For number 1, I am pertaining to tasks within Rake not from external apps. And there is a daily reminder sent to remind team members to update tasks statuses (like Axel)
We don't recommend stacking beyond 2. Seems to make more sense to purchase 2 codes for each separate project you would like and of course that project would then come with the workspaces and users related to 2 stacked codes.

Is 1 workspace = 1 business (with multiple employees?)

Lets say I have 5 different businesses. Business 1 has 100 employees which are further divided into departments like Sales, Development, HR and more... Similarly for other businesses...
So for my Business 1, would it need just 1 workspace? Or do I need multiple workspaces for each department? Like different workspaces for Sales, HR and more?
Or would I just need 5 workspaces for my 5 businesses and each workspace can have further chat groups for different departments?
So a project is then a collection of businesses...? Can you please explain the use case here of bundling several business into a project? Is the project mainly to track our appsumo plan?
A project is a collection of workspaces (businesses) and it provides the admin user convenience related to creating more workspaces, adding users, tracking activity across his/her collection of workspaces.
Users are employees, not visitors, customers or "chatters"

Hello - Our current integrations include FB Messenger, Twilio, Zapier (connecting to thousands) Presently we do not support threads but will in the future.
We do not currently support thread replies but we will sometime in 2022. Our integrations today include Zapier, Facebook, Twilio and next up is WhatsApp

Updating Rake tasks is simple and begins by clicking the TASK tab in our menu - this does not appear inside a chat.

Q: Looking at replacing Slack, so want to understand what sort of integration you have with platforms like Telegram, Trello and Drive.
I get that I might be able to replace Trello completely, but still curious
