What happens if my connection is interrupted while I'm working?
(This question is for the future Windows version, in case that makes a difference.)

May 14, 2024A: Hey! Currently, Rize does require an internet connection to work. If your connection is interrupted, Rize will continue to work unless the interruption is extremely long (like hours). We do want to add the ability for offline mode eventually. That's definitely on the roadmap but we don't have that capability right now. I will keep you posted on when we launch that! Just curious, what's your use case for using without internet?

Just that my internet connection is unreliable. But so long as Rize will cope with occasional drop-outs it should be OK.
Yup Rize should work! Let me know if you run into any issues though and we'll fix them.
while working on my laptop aboard trains or airplanes, I wish for Rize to record my application usage. At such times, I am not in a hurry to access statistics or categorize my activities. However, I have discovered that if there is no internet connection, Rize doesn't open the dashboard upon startup(windows) which leads me to worry about losing my activity records in offline mode.
