5 tacos for helping me be AWARE! 🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮

I'm neurodivergent: autistic & ADHDer, BUT I have the added "feature" of having a high IQ.... meaning I'm FULLY aware of my "lack." Just because I know where my issues are, doesn't mean I always have the capacity to fix them on my own. Literally - I'm a certified life & biz coach - I can help others, but I can't freaking help myself. 🙄 I've tried that many freaking time mgmt strategies, but it wasn't until my diagnosis that I realised that it's a core hallmark trait of both of my disabilities, & how they sometimes work together for pure evil. 👿🤣 (ADHD hyperfocus & squirrel + ASD obsession = 0 exec function)

✅ Family life - I'm a mum to 3 teenagers. We have sooo much going on, with zero fam support - they're all overseas or interstate.
✅ Love my side hustle - not for the cash but because I love building websites. 😁
✅ Work life, I'm a corp marketing manager, so I have a BILLION things on the go.
✅ Friends - have lots, but when you are so busy, how to find the time?
❌ Balance? HA, what's that?
(As you can see, lots to work on. 😜 That's what therapy is for.)

I've been using RIZE now for about 3 weeks. It's helping me to do the following:

💥 see the path I take in my browsing where I get sucked into a rabbit hole of research and/or reading (I see you AppSumo!)
💥 have a concrete figure of how much FREAKING TIME I spend in Outlook (kill me now 💀)
💥 see the actual URLs in my browser where I'm spending my time on my own website (editing? reading? which pages/posts?)
💥 REMIND ME TO TAKE BREAKS... (eating, drinking, occasional trips to the bathroom are ideal bodily functions, but most days, I forget them... thanks hyper-focus, I think you're awesome... but my body disagrees.)
💥 tell me how much time I spend off my screen, thought sometimes isn't necessarily a break
💥 see areas where I need to improve my process so that I can potentially reduce distractions, & more accurately track my time

Things I wish/hope for in future RIZE updates:
(***note: I think all of these are related, but being married to a web dev, I realise some changes might not be related like *I* think they are)

💝 Editing of sessions to be a bit easier/less confusing. I still haven't fully mastered that, & as someone jumps all over the shop, I need a bit more flexibility to do that.
🧡 Ability to differentiate between off-screen time as a break, & off-screen time as productive time, without creating a session - like, just split it. (Ties into the one above I think.)
💛 Ability to add a session without a "type." Ex: add a session in "Email" because my new comp didn't auto-launch RIZE, & it only allowed me to add it as "Email" "Meeting" or "Email" "Focus".... which, it was neither, so I didn't add it.
💚 Examples of customisations or use-cases that other users are employing... It's too overwhelming to start, even though I know I need to customise it.
💙 Ability to edit the break reminder: bigger screen, change tone, louder, etc.

So far though, I'm loving it!

Hey dinnaeg,

Thank you so much for this amazing review! It makes us so happy that you've found Rize to be valuable. We really appreciate your feedback too. Most of these are definitely on the roadmap so stay tuned!

Right now, you can add time to your timeline without a Session type. You just need to drag and drop on the timeline and select the category (e.g. "Email"). Here's the changelog that shows how to do that: https://rize.canny.io/changelog/drag-and-drop-on-your-timeline-to-add-and-remove-time

Let me know if you have any questions or run into any issues. Thanks so much for using and supporting Rize!
