Q: Hi, after trial few things, need answers before jump in : 1.
Is this LTD available for creating cloud running tasks for free?
2. I've been trying with point-and-click recording. It seems not work very well on running recorded steps. For example; I clicked on search button but the click action has lost. Then the flow likely to be uncompleted and cannot move on.
Is that usually happen or I did it wrong way?
Thanks

1. Is this LTD available for creating cloud running tasks for free? >>> During our Beta phase for the Cloud feature yes. But you can also setup your own Remote Desktop VPS and run your automations on your own little cloud. Otherwise our Cloud Run will be made available on a pay-as-you-go basis, based on Machine hour and we will communicate before starting to charge for this feature.
2. I've been trying with point-and-click recording. It seems not work very well on running recorded steps. For example; I clicked on search button but the click action has lost. Then the flow likely to be uncompleted and cannot move on. >>> Depending on the websites our Click & Point may not be able to catch the element especially if they are not in the source code initially. Click and Point needs to be complemented with manually finding the CSS locator and you can use some free Chrome extension to help you find the CSS locators, see this video tutorial: https://youtu.be/PwXhJ3XYkiU
Also ChatGPT is really good at finding CSS locators if you copy the html/source code around the element and ask in a human way it will find you the proper selector. See a screenshot of how I do as an example: https://prnt.sc/9ZrmAmKgt7k7
You can also use ChatGPT to give you JavaScript function to count the number of stars/ratings based on the number of images, for instance how I did to the star rating for hotels.com listings see here: https://prnt.sc/DPJw5YZ8CGnK and then this prompt: https://prnt.sc/Z9Vaj6d5yk8W and you add that JavaScript code into RTILA Property > Filters > Action and it will count and save the number of stars.
We will be doing some tutorials for non-developers on how to better find CSS locators and JavaScript commands using ChatGPT and other tools and how to leverage them to take your RTILA automations to the next level without knowing how to code
