Q: Hi Alex !
I don't know if it's hard to code, could you please consider adding a new way to import video : url ?
Website like Kapwing, Flixier... allow us to paste an url, and work on it. I'm sure it's not exactly the same technology, but you software is that great that if I want to use one, it's yours !
For this task though, this is cumbersome to download yt video before...
My use case is : trimming and exporting short cuts of many youtube video I found interesting on my road, to repurpose them in social medias.
Maybe other people will find this useful
Have a great day!
What is "split and freeze" ?
It's cool that we can export the audio of a cut, I'd like to export the video too!
I'd like to customize caption text and background colors ? š
So cool that we can add keystroke !
Split and freeze is a feature to capture a frame - "freeze it", cut the video and insert the frozen image for a period, say 2 seconds, into the video. Editors like VSCO on the iPhone has this. For example, we trained our dachshund puppy to push a bell when he wanted to go outside, and on one webcam video split and froze the moment he pushed the button. This is the still but the video has an inserted frozen section https://share.getcloudapp.com/rRu1P0JL
Hello!
Thank you so much for the awesome suggestions.
We will implement video import from URL in the following versions. For customizing captions, please see the "Closed Captioning" tool. You can also export video segments with the "Export Timeline Selection" option.
Thank you for suggesting the documentation app. We will consider using it as it looks pretty powerful.
I think that you also got some helpful information about the Split & Freeze tool. Thanks, walteradamson!
If you need any more details, do not hesitate to contact us further.
Many thanks,
Alex
Hi,
very great news for the youtube url, that's awesome ! You're such a crack !
I couldn't find any way to change the colors of closed caption..
Exporting selecting is cool, but apparently not possible to export multiples ones at once, which is what I'm looking for !
