I highly recommend this piece of software to anyone looking to do screensharing videos. This will record you camera and your screen at the same time. You do have the option to display the camera on your screen recording, but you can also leave it separate. Yet, instead of having to splice videos together, you can very simply show just the screen, just your camera, or both at the same time.

You can also move around the screen or your camera easily in post production, add transitions, zoom in and highlight text, and much more! Originally, I was displaying my camera on the recording, for faster editing, but since this offers ability to toggle or move the camera around, my videos are much more professional looking, and I never have to worry that I'm covering up something important. BUT ScreentoVideo wins all the tacos because it does both.

It's super easy to navigate, even for someone who isn't a video editing master. And there are even more cool features in their tutorials, that I haven't either utilized yet, like a feature to pause the video, until a user clicks a button to continue (excellent for tech tutorials).

I hit one snag, but support was responsive and helpful, and it ended up sorting itself anyway.

Bonus is that it pairs beautifully with Happy Scribe subtitles.

Note: The first couple times I used it, I thought the audio and video weren't synced, but sometimes, in the editing process, when it plays over cuts/transitions, the sync gets off. I have to pause it and play again and it's synced up again. It was always synced in the final export, but I spent awhile trying to diagnose how it was off while editing, when it wasn't actually off.
