GPT-3 tool with a TWIST!

I've got a bunch of GPT-3 tools in my arsenal from AppSumo and they each have their unique strengths and weaknesses but mostly a ton of overlap (once you step away from the nature of credits). Smart Writer is unique in solving a gap in outbound marketers' workflow, which is usually personalization at scale (think merge tags, website screenshots, personalized image or video, etc.) but always requires that one, TRULY unique opener, that can't be scraped and automated with any tool in the arsenal, and usually boils down to either racking your brain yourself or hiring a VA to do that bit of research. Enter SmartWriter, which scrapes the web for any publicly known relevant info on your prospect and his company. I've put it to the test and it generates 2-3 ice breakers, one of which at least is ALMOST perfect. I say "almost" because I don't think I would ever be comfortable using the content blind, but it's FAR easier to choose one among three existing intros then spending 60 seconds to polish it and make it perfect, than researching from scratch and getting lost in the rabbit whole of browser tabs for a prospect stalking session. There's other interesting use cases in the works, not of the oversaturated kind covered by most other gpt-3 tools, but to me this is worth it for the ice breaker function alone so I double stacked.

What could be better?

1) credit system, I think it should be more generous but that's the deal terms, not the product. Ideally it should match the upper level of send per day via gsuite. So if I can send out around 500+ emails a day via gsuite if I were running cold emails full throttle, it's not nice for this tool to be a bottleneck to how many personalized ice breakers I could include with each email -- more generous deal terms would just make us more productive and I think they probably have enough Margin to make that work.
2) API please! I'd love to call it via Apipheny because my prospects' data is all on google sheets, and then the whole process would be sheets centric with every column mapped out to a Lemlist field. BUT THEY'RE WORKING ON IT so it's just a matter of time

That's about it! They seem to develop fast and are already launching a LinkedIn connection request icebreaker in beta that looked pretty damn good! So I'm excited to see what more's cooking at SmartWriter. If you do any biz dev don't think twice.

Hey

Thank you for this fairly detailed review, really really appreciate it.

Couple points to hopefully make you feel at ease

No more doing only "public information" but rather now private linkedin data
Personalisation based on :
Activity
Bio
Job Description
Recommendations

So the quality looks like you've actually spent some serious time looking this person up

We're brining Google review based personalisation as well in case you're targeting people in the trades industry

Also WRT to APIs,

Lemlist is on the works, already added to the roadmap, so rest assured it'll be there soon however in the short term Gsheet integration is coming out soon!

This means direct appending and movement of your data to and from your GSheet, i.e you can go crazy with your zapier or apipheny integrations :D

Thanks again and suuupper excited to be building this out for you and help you make $$$$!
