Q: I’d be using this with Wordpress.
I need to send people to through to the split testing pages with dynamic data UTMs attached (intact) for other tracking and site functionality.
So, is there a way to keep the UTMs attached/intact on the URLs?
Example (50/50) Splt:
URL1 Needs to look like this:
https://mysite.com/page1.html/?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=marlon&utm_term=none&utm_content=test1
URL2 Needs to look like this:
https://mysite.com/page2.html/?utm_source=followup_sequence&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=john&utm_term=none&utm_content=test1
What is the difference between them?
While SplitStack decided between the 2 URLs to send the next person there was dynamic UTM data attached to the URL that changes constantly and needs to be passed along in the URL that SplitStack sends people to.
Possible?
Thanks
Hi there,
yes, totally possible.
Splitstack preserves UTM parameters.
Let me know if you need any other info.

Thank you for the answer/response.
As long as i can have DYNAMIC, changing UTMs. I’m in.
I just worry that I have to set fixed URLs (up to 5) in the system, which would mean fixed UTMs.
Is there help in the system/training that explains passing on UTMs, or should I contact support?
Thanks
At the moment you can't pass DYNAMIC URLs.
You have to insert your URLs with the UTM parameters (fixed) attached.
Is this an issue for you?
Would you mind reaching me out at info@splitstack.co so that I can understand better your use-case?
Cheers,
Filippo
