Q: A few questions: 1.
Can boards be exported to Excel, CSV
2. Can boards be imported via excel, CSV
3. Is it possible to make project templates. For example, if I had mapped out a project that I need to reuse over and over again just with different start dates can I create a template and replicate the project with a new start date and all the tasks and dates recalculate accordingly, is that possible?
4. When you are mapping out your Gantt chart, I love the ability to change the duration of the task list just by dragging the ends of the task and create relationships with other task lists. This was the main feature I was looking for when I signed up for this. Is there any ability to do this at the subtask level?
5. How many levels of subtasks are available, can a task have a subtask and a subtask have a subtask etc?

May 14, 2024A: Hi, here's some answers to your questions:
1 & 2: yes, boards can be exported to a csv file, and you can import csv files into a board
3. Although there isn't a specific "template" feature, you can copy and paste cards within a board or between boards via the 3-dot menu in the top corner of the column/card
4. Yes, subtasks can be "resized" on the gantt chart view the same as tasks.
5. There's no limit to the levels of subtasks you can have. (Eventually it might get unwieldy, but we leave it up to you to decide how many levels work best)
Thanks for your response. I am happy that most of the features I am looking for are there but #3 is probably the most important but I don't think you answered my question.
I asked about creating or copying projects for reuse, not individual tasks.
So if you create a board with all your timelines and dependencies set up, say I've used it to plan an event. When I am running the event again, is there any way to reuse the board and have it recalculate all the dates?

Got it, so you'd want to create a board where the cards and columns have "placeholder" dates relative to each other, and then switch those to "current" dates when you start a new event, does that sound right?
Although we haven't focused on that use case, there's a few features that might work for you:
* In addition to copying cards you can copy a whole board as well. If you make your own "template" board, then you can copy it as many times as you like and build off of them.
* In the timeline view, if a "column" and any of its tasks and subtasks have dates set on them, you can drag the top level card/column in the timeline to a new date and it'll carry along all its nested cards to dates relative to its placement. (I'll note that there is an issue where you can't currently do this via the calendar date picker, so we'll need to look into that)
