Q: I see time estimates are a feature of subtask, but is there a way track actual time spent on a task?
If not are there plans to add task based time tracking?

Subtask has a few custom fields that may be used to track time or other measurements you may need for a task. There's a "number" and a "time custom field type that you can add to your cards (and also search or sort on).
Subtask doesn't have a built-in time tracker at the moment, but we're always on the lookout for new features and integrations our users want to see.

I think Subtask is brilliantly simple and bloat-free. I would suggest to look into integration with time tracking applications rather than including time tracking as an internal function.
