How often do you want to copy some text but can’t because it’s not selectable? That’s where TextSniper’s OCR feature comes in. It quietly runs in the background, sits in the Task Panel ready to use, and in just three seconds, the text is copied to your clipboard, ready to paste elsewhere. It makes life so much easier—even though I only use TextSniper a few times a week.

MacOs only ! With small apps like this, I always look into solution if this is not already available as open source somewhere. While some Linux systems now even have built-in OCR capabilities, investing in TextSniper is definitely worth it, especially since it provides a fully functional, simple tool that’s missing on macOS. There are probably some other small OCR tools for macOS but for sure not as polished and functional as this one. And all for the price of an hot- dog ! Buy it, download, install and use it on your Mac! LTD !

Also, an app like this is unlikely to disappear or be abandoned unless acquired by a larger company. Well done, TextSniper team!
