At last, a market intelligence tool for editorial planners
I am not an SEO guru, nor am I a bulk content writer. Rather, I lead a research team of highly experienced people, all of whom have been technology executives. This team writes research into topics they know a LOT about... but sometimes we know we are missing the mark on what people actually need.
For years I have been looking for a product that lets us investigate the QUESTIONS people are struggling with. No, not the obvious "what is CRM" or whatever junior-level questions vendors are all too happy to churn out copy about, but the deeper issue, such as "which CRM has the lowest cost of operation for a B2B enterprise". Our teams often knows the answers, but they don't know what these questions are!
TopicMojo goes a long way to helping with this challenge by not only discovering the questions, but also tracking them and returning examples of what the generalists in the industry are writing about, so we can focus on the high-value niches. It lets us avoid writing the obvious as much as it hints at high-value topics.
I am still experimenting with the product, and while it does not do all of things other products I ve tried in the past can do (in relation to SEO) what it does do is help solve my editorial planning challenges.
The simplicity and clean design makes this a breeze to use - even for an old school researcher like me.
I will be showcasing this to my team and looking to stack next week.
