Q: Hi, great tool.

Was just talking the other day with somebody about learning platforms and mindmaps.

Is there a platform fee? I'm checking your plan details and saw nothing about that but when I read one of the answers I read something like ": The platform fee is 1%". So is there a platform fee or isn't it there? And how is this charged/calculated?

A: The platform fee is 1% which is only to cover server and service costs (solely to prevent going out of business due to high sales volume) Monthly payments for training are not yet supported but will be added at some point.

i am assuming the 1% is for the payment gateway that is part of the platform. do we have the option to use our own payment systems too? and would that allow us to save the 1% if we stack fully? I am thinking pabbly would be able to handle the payments for 1 use-case and thus not need to rely on your provider.

Yes you can use your own payment gateway, and then provide your students access either through our API (compatible with zapier) or using a secret link to share

Thanks, sounds fair.

You can export to JSON and markdown (formatted text) format. I'm not sure which format LearnDash accepts but usually with some data transformations you should be be able to get the format you need

I noticed that I only can export everything in my traverse account. So all the acadamies etc.

Are you thinking about enabling export on lower levels, like on a course, topic etc?
And I tried to copy/past the content of one topic. Was some text and a video url. The paste was only the text. Is there a way to easily copy a topic's content? I think it would also be a great other usecase if one could use Traverse to develop courses and then to be able to export/copy to different lms.

Export on lower levels could be implemented. Best would be to submit it to our roadmap at https://roadmap.traverse.link/traverselink and if more people want it we'll build it.
For copy/paste, that should usually work, depending on which destination you were trying to paste to?

Hi,
About the copy/paste. I'm trying to copy/paste the content from a lesson which consists of text and an image and a video url. When I paste it (into a code editor) only the text get pasted.

And about export functionality. I noticed that there is a webhook api/integration. Is it currently possible to use a webhook to get the lessons and the content into Wordpress. Does your webhook has the lesson/content data in it? If that is so, it would be possible to export it by Zapier/Integromat into Wordpress Learndash.

Content import/export is not included yet in the webhooks+api, but it's on our roadmap. At that point you would be able to import from/export to LearnDash (might require data format transformations)
