Thanks a lot for pointing to Swipe Pages. I constantly monitor the market and check each new competitor, but somehow I skipped Swipe Pages.

I just tested it and here are my thoughts.

This solid project has 2 main differences from Unicorn Platform.

First, the page building approach. Swipe Pages gives you full flexibility. Each little thing can be tuned: margins, font size, text align, shadows and 99 other settings. It literally goes in the way Webflow goes.

Unicorn Platform is much simpler. We designed everything for you.

You do not need to care about, for example, heading size. It will be the same for all pages on all Unicorn Platform websites. We chose one good size and tell you: "We designed it like that. It is good. Just accept this fact and go forward. We know you have more important things to do rather decide will the heading size will be". This is what I mean when I say the word "simplicity".

This approach dramatically saves your time and gives you relief. You do not need to care if it looks good or bad. You just can not make a bad website on Unicorn Platform. You do not need to be a designer to make a beautiful page really quickly.

However, if you are a professional designer with good UI skills and design taste, Swipe Pages (or Webflow, or Dorik, or Tilda) would be definitely better for your needs.

Second, we are startup-oriented. We have the specific things that only startups need: App Store/Play Market branded buttons, iPhone/MacBook mockups, mobile app screenshot slider.
And there will be more: we plan to add a Product Hunt widget, Google Chrome Extension branded buttons, code highlighter, changelog, job board.

To sum up, if you are okay spending extra time on tuning a page and feel confident about this process, skip Unicorn Platform. If you need to make a beautiful page quickly, try it 🙂
