Q: Is GitHub required to use this/do you link your GitHub account to this or is it independent?
I am assembling a team together to develop a SaaS - was looking at purchasing a GitHub license for each member to use to communicate - but wondering if this would be better?
They way I am understanding it, if I buy 5 licenses and assign them to the team members, all of us would get updated files as another creates an update, is that correct? Or would everyone need their own GitHub account and this links to those with a saved GitHub Project?

May 14, 2024A: Thanks for your questions. To clarify, Vershd is entirely separate from GitHub or any other cloud repository. It can work with them all, but is independent.
The Vershd licence lets you see any changes to an unlimited numbers of repositories that you're connected to, regardless of GitHub licensing. So each team member will be able to see the work of others (after it has been pushed to the remote repository, in this case GitHub).
As the remote repository is updated, all the Vershd installations will update.
I hope this helps, please get back to me with any more questions.
