I know what you’re thinking, “not another video editor!” – but hear me out, this is our story...

We’re two Indie Hackers from different sides of the world, who met online and forged a partnership over the pursuit of creating the easiest video editor ever, without sacrificing features. I originally built the first version of my video editor to create short promo videos of side projects I was working on, and launched it as a Shopify app. From here, my interest grew in building an easy solution to create great looking video content at scale. Ed was running an indie stock video platform and was a competent video editor, creating content daily he understood the need for making video editing simple and accessible to all. So we teamed up, and using my underlying code and his input on features, we iterated our way to the version of Vidds you see before you today 😁
