Hello, are the licenses transferable between emails. Let's say I work for ACME and use this tool, if I no longer work for ACME, can i transfer to a different email account?
So I'm wondering if I an add the voice notes to google docs in a way that the reader can play and listen directly on the google doc even if THEY don't have Vocal... is that possible? Or do they need to have Vocal to play the audio note directly on the google Doc?
A: it's actually not possible to listen to the note directly in GDocs, so even if they use Vocal, they'll have to click and open the link in a new tab ;)
Here's the special integration: https://workspace.google.com/marketplace/app/audio_notes_in_docs_record_voice_message/740035497736?flow_type=2
I had a quick question about Vocal's setup. When you purchase Vocal, does that license apply to just one Gmail account, or would I need to buy multiple codes to use it across different Gmail accounts? If it’s limited to a single account, am I still able to use Vocal’s free version with my other Gmail accounts while keeping the paid version tied to the one I use most? Hope that makes sense—just trying to get a better understanding before moving forward. Thanks so much!
Thank you for responding. I looked for this question but obviously did not use correct keywords to bring it up. I apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience in answering the same question again.
Q: Is there a better way to use this as a meeting recorder?
I was very much hoping to use this as a note taker for company meetings (a replacement for Plaud, OtterAI, etc) to capture the meeting and then transcribe. And while it CAN do that, the transcriptions are lumped together. Multiple speaker's words are grouped into one paragraph, no labels per speaker, etc. **I understand this is not how this product is marketed and I may be putting a round peg in a square hole...** But is there a way to get the transcription to display as:
Speaker 1: "From last week..." Speaker 2: "Let's have marketing tackle that..."
Or even better:
Bill: "From last week..." Susan: "Let's have marketing tackle that..."
This is what Plaud does and does really well. But it requires additional hardware and there's obviously no LTD. For what it's worth, this is 90% of the way to being an amazing tool for note taking!
A: Hey! Yeah unfortunately there are pretty high costs associated with those features, which is why we never prioritized them for the LTD deal. But we do offer such a feature on our subscription plan ($30/mo - not cheap tbh).
So basically the answer is no if you want a lifetime deal :/ sorry :/
Q: 2 quick requests
I would find slower playback speed options very, very useful for my use case. 0.5x, 0.75
It would also be great if we could upload a video directly from YouTube to get the audio and the transcript.

Sep 6, 2025A: It's tied to one account. so you can still use other accounts on the free plan, or buy multiple codes and redeem one code per gmail account :)
Hope that makes sense. The question was answered before already so feel free to see what others did :)
