So, practically speaking, is the VPS going to be faster (for visitors to my site) than the Managed Web Hosting offer, given that that also has dedicated resources? Or will they perform similarly?

I don't really need access to root. I am currently on a shared server, and just looking for something that works in a similar fashion, but that is faster with dedicated resources that can grow over time with the sites and not slow down when there are many concurrent users.

Hi,

I personally recommend going with Managed Web Hosting instead of the VPS option if you do not need access to the root of the server.
