Both the deal and tool sucks......
..... as much as the best vacuum cleaner! (Sorry I've been waiting to use this in a review of a tool that I really like)
Had the opportunity to use Markup Hero for a couple of months before they launched their Marketplace deal, and now the Appsumo main page deal. My agency runs paid media campaigns and we do conversion rate optimization on our client's landing/product pages as an optional service. As you can imagine, Markup Hero's value proposition is really great for what we do (instead of just sending a screenshot with captions over Slack/NiftyPM)
So I've been using Markup Hero to send changes to my design staff for a couple of months as a test and lately I've been thinking about making this a staple for my campaign strategists since they don't (yet) have the tool. I was a little disappointed when their Marketplace deal didn't have teams and custom branding offered, but lo and behold Jeff and his team came up to the main page and now both teams + custom branding are being offered as part of the deal. Since teams are being offered, the deal just got upgraded from amazing to no-brainer status
Pros:
✅ Clean and simple UI/UX
✅ Generous deal terms
✅ Affordable LTD price
✅ Can paste Win + Shift + S screenshot directly (You have no idea how important that macro and feature is for me)
✅ Chrome extension
✅ Chrome extension has SS macros as well
✅ Google Drive integration
Cons:
❌ Can't take full page SS from Chrome Extension
❌ The "Paste a Link" full page SS feature doesn't work really well on all sites. Sometimes it just shows a really stretched out hero image.
That's pretty much it. It's going to be a great tool for my team and I hope we'll be using this for years to come.

May 9, 2024Hells yes Joshua. What a review. Love all the pro's and sadly I couldn't agree with you more on the con's. We are going to improve both the Chrome extension and the desktop app, just a little lower on priority list, but we'll get there.
1) Update the chrome extension to take full webpages better (soon, fairly easy to build)
2) Add scrolling screenshot to the desktop app so you can take anything you can see full-length (a little later in year, kinda complex to build)
