Something Already Solved... Way Better
Screenshots and file annotation is a problem that's been solved many times over. That said, it's something I do every day so I always try the new new to see what I might be missing. And yes, I was missing. The screenshot is pretty much the same except browser based vs. desktop. And the basic annotation tools are pretty much in parity with other tools. But there are several things that stand out. PDF annotation for one. This is so incredibly fast. I can't even do this with most of the competitors. I have to use a dedicated tool normally and Acrobat is a pain. For quick PDF edits, Markup Hero is hands down the winner. Then there's the history panel. I take a ton of screenshots so I don't need everything saved. But that one screenshot, that one markup, I can't lose. And I have so many times with other tools. As soon as I would close the editor, the file is gone. With Markup Hero it's saved, seems like forever too. And it's also clear that the team isn't stopping at hello. Looking at the roadmap and the dev cycles, seems like they've got a ton of things coming and fast. Thx peeps. Super stoked.
Really appreciate it. Timing is key so if you can do in the next hour or two I'd be grateful.
Thanks,

May 9, 2024Hi JR. Glad your liking it. And the PDF annotations as well. Keep us posted on any feedback. We were talking on Intercom and sounded like you had an immediate concern about the file upload size, is that what you were referring to on the "timing"? Well were increasing the upload cap from 8MB to 50MB shortly so you should be good. Thanks again!
