Unable to do a simple task
All I need is to write some text on a PDF in a certain location and from what I ascertained this is not possible. You need to convert the PDF into a bitmap PNG or JPG, serve it as an image to get the text where you want it. My PDF is vectorized and this process makes it huge and it loses quality. I'll be happy to change this review if direct PDF editing is made available. As of now, unfortunately one taco for MarkupGo. Competitors such as CraftMyPDF have this quite basic feature.

Thanks for the honest feedback — totally understand the frustration.
At the moment, MarkupGo doesn’t support direct PDF editing or writing text onto an existing PDF. The only available method is to render the PDF as an image and overlay text, which as you noted can affect vector quality. This is a technical limitation of our current engine, not by design.
Direct PDF editing is on our roadmap, and once it’s available you’ll be able to place text, images, and shapes on top of existing PDFs without converting them.
We appreciate you taking the time to share this, and we’ll update our documentation and product as soon as PDF editing becomes available.
