Marky is a great tool, the team is good but they introduced credits
I’ve been using the product for the past month and I’m impressed with how quickly it’s evolving. The team is responsive, regularly releases new features, and the support has been fantastic.
However, I do have some concerns. Recently, they introduced a system of AI credits, but AppSumo users don’t receive any recurring credits. This is misleading, as many of the new features require these credits, and it’s currently not possible to generate AI videos even though the AppSumo deal explicitly advertises “AI-generated video.”
Additionally, according to support: "no plans of developing BYOK feature yet. But they are considering it."

Regarding credits, we agree that our initial rollout could have been communicated more clearly. Based on feedback from our AppSumo community, we've since added LTD users to a monthly replenishing credit allocation in addition to the one-time allotment.
It's also worth clarifying that credits are only used for AI image generation and AI video generation. Our core social media scheduling, publishing, content creation, and automation features do not consume credits.
As for AI video generation, the feature is available, but because video generation carries significant ongoing costs, it operates through the credit system rather than unlimited usage.
Regarding BYOK, we're happy to share that we've since added BYOK support, giving users additional flexibility in how they use AI within the platform.
We appreciate the feedback and will continue working to improve both the product and how we communicate changes to our community.
