Q: For the free version on WordPress.

org you state, "Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) is already implemented. Future support for Meta Box, JetEngine & Toolset." Is this ACF implementation the Pro version, and when will this support the other dynamic data plugins? I looked on your Roadmap Tracker and none that you stated on your free version is even listed.

A: Hey 👋,

I'm not sure I understand your question. We are currently addressing it here: https://github.com/maxi-blocks/maxi-blocks/issues/4642.

The plugin won't have any locked features; everything is included for all users. What we're offering for purchase are the Pro Templates.

I hope this answers your question.

Thanks,
Kyra

I'm sorry. Maybe I did explain it the right way. When you go to your listing of the free version on WordPress.org you state, "Dynamic content: Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) is already implemented." This statement reads as if ACF is included in MaxiBlock. It does not say it supports ACF. This raised my question, are you implementing the pro version of ACF? When you review the GitHub issue https://github.com/maxi-blocks/maxi-blocks/pull/4794 the instructions state that you need to install ACF. This statement implies that ACF is not implemented into MaxiBlocks. So, which is it? Does it support ACF or is it implemented into MaxiBlocks?

The next part of this statement was, "Future support for Meta Box, JetEngine & Toolset." So when I went to your Roadmap Tracker at https://github.com/orgs/maxi-blocks/projects/7/views/1 . I searched for Metabox and JetEngine keywords and no results were returned.

I did manage to find this https://github.com/maxi-blocks/maxi-blocks/issues/4642 in the Roadmap, but it is listed as In Progress, which is strange because how can this be tagged as In Progress and you have the aforementioned statement and what you explicitly state on your website. Also, this post makes no mention of JetEngine, just Jeppack, which makes no sense because Jetpack is not a DC plugin.

Hello! Thanks for the questions and clarification.

1. MaxiBlocks WordPress plugin:
- All page builder features in MaxiBlocks are free, with the Pro templates offered as a time-saving and design-enhancing upgrade.

2. ACF integration:
- We've extended support for Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) in MaxiBlocks. If you have the ACF plugin (either version), you'll find field options under the Dynamic Content section of our MaxiBlocks custom blocks. We'll update our description to prevent any future confusion—thanks for bringing this to our attention.

3. Future support for JetEngine:
- On our GitHub issue https://github.com/maxi-blocks/maxi-blocks/issues/4642 , the mention of Jetpack was a typo; it should be JetEngine. We plan to roll out support for it in a forthcoming update under the Dynamic Content section on our MaxiBlocks custom blocks. We'll correct the issue and update it accordingly.

Feel free to reach out if you have further questions.

Thank you for the clarification. I just wanted to see where MaxiBlocks is heading with Dynamic Content plugin support before I purchase this. I have been keeping my eye on this plugin since I played with the Beta version almost a year ago and see the power and potential it has.

On a side note, you might want to consider changing the wording on your WordPress.org listing about ACF because it implies that ACF is included with MaxiBlocks.

Will do it ASAP. Thanks and glad you tried the Beta. If you do decide to pull the trigger and you like the plugin consider dropping a review. Thanks again. See you!
