Talk to Your Clients Like They're Ghosts with Median
I will say, the simplicity of deployment is exceptional. Install a snippet and you're good to go. I haven't integrated with a live chat widget, so I will put that asterisk on this review from an early stage, but when working with WordPress clients, it's simple to join a session either through the active sessions or asking for a code they provide. From there, it's off to the races.
The UI is a bit...minimal. I don't want to offend it by calling it bad, but you can tell there's not a tremendous amount of effort put into the UI on the back-end. You just work in this tabular view and that's about it. It's not flashy, but it does work and as far as the end-user is concerned, it's a seamless experience.
Two Cons from where I'm sitting:
1) No confirmation of an agent joining or leaving a session. Naturally once the user sees their screen become possessed like a horror film, they should know you have access, but there's no other visual indication that you've assumed control once they've confirmed permissions. Trust me, as "obvious" as you think confirming permissions means the agent has joined, a different visual confirmation would affirm that you have not only given permissions, the agent has joined too.
2) The inability to terminate the session from the end user's side can be troublesome. As a user, because of #1, I have no way of knowing the agent has left and that I can feel comfortable and confident that I can browse without prying eyes. Some indication that the agent has left, that the session is currently connected, or the ability to terminate the session at their choosing will bridge the "peace of mind" gap.
Sort out the two above points, as well as a better UI and this will be a 5 taco deal in my opinion.

May 9, 2024SapphireWolf, thanks for the review!
Can I be honest with you... We 100% agree with all your points...
In full transparency, I acquired the company last year and what you see is what we got. haha. In fact, one of the driving factors behind this promotion was to raise awareness of the app and raise funds to improve the over all look and feel.
We have a LOT of cool stuff coming down the pipe. I look forward to earning that 5th taco!
Thanks again! Cheers.
